National Wheelchair Games brings competition and community for Vets

MINNEAPOLIS — Mprnews.org — The world’s largest annual wheelchair sports event for military veterans kicked off in Minneapolis on Thursday July 17.

The National Veterans Wheelchair Games brings together hundreds of U.S. vets for some friendly but fierce competition across a number of adaptive sports, including slalom, disc golf and this year’s highlight — axe throwing.
