COVID-19 Mitigation Updates as of April 19, 2022:
Over the coming days and weeks you will be receiving additional information for planning a successful experience at this year’s NVWG – specifically for reserving your hotels and making travel. Formal confirmation packets will be mailed out June 1st. As you begin making plans, please review the following COVID-19 Vaccination and Booster requirements.
COVID-19 Playbook update for the 41st National Veterans Wheelchair Games (NVWG), Tempe, AZ July 7-12, 2022. Below is an update on the vaccination and booster requirements to attend and participate in the upcoming NVWG. A formal COVID-19 NVWG Playbook will be published shortly with the details.
All participants are required to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which means receiving all recommended COVID-19 vaccines including getting one booster dose when eligible. Participants include Veterans, VA and non-VA staff, volunteers, exhibitors, sponsors, caregivers and families attending the NVWG.
CDC recommendations for when to receive a booster dose:
Proof of Vaccination:
All participants will be required to provide proof of vaccination including a receipt of booster dose, if eligible.
Face Mask Requirement:
Registration is now open for the 41st National Veterans Wheelchair Games. The event will take place in Tempe, Arizona, July 7-12, 2022.

For Wednesday, July 6, 2022: There will no longer be Early Registration, Early Classification or Early Air Guns Registration on this day.
